Melting of Wax
- Melting of wax in a pan is a reversible change.
- When wax (solid form) is heated in a pan.
- It becomes liquid wax (liquid form).
- When this liquid wax cools down .
- It changes into wax again.
Burning of wax
- The burning of a candle is an irreversible change.
- When a candle is burnt.
- Its size changes i.e it becomes small in size.
- When a candle burns it produces Carbon Dioxide,water and Soot.
- These products cannot be turned back into a candle again.
- Thus,this process is an Irreversible process.
