What is sieving? Where is it used?
Answer:
- When components of mixture have different sizes we use a Sieve.
- Fine particles pass through the holes and bigger impurities remain on the sieve.
- Eg : In flour mills impurities like basic and stones are removed from wheat with the help of sieve
