Ex 1.2, 4 In the following, state whether A = B or not: (ii) A = {4, 8, 12, 16}; B = {8, 4, 16, 18} Element of Set A = 4, 8, 12, 16 Element of Set B = 8, 4, 16, 18 Here, 12 is in set A but not in set B. i.e. 12 ∈ A but 12 ∉ B. ∴ A ≠ B
