According to CBSE Syllabus for Class 10,
here is the chapter wise weightage of marks

| VI. | Mensuration | Chapter 12, 13 | 10 |
| VII. | Statistics & Probability | Chapter 14, 15 | 11 |
| Total | 80 | ||
Quadratic Equation (Chapter 4 of NCERT) will come under Algebra (20 marks)
Since 4 chapters are of 20 marks, I am assuming Quadratic Equation will come of 5 marks.
