Why you factorise in Ex. 7.5,6
Hello Hesham
In the question https://www.teachoo.com/5028/720/Ex-7.5--6---Integrate-1---x2---x-(1---2x)---Class-12/category/Ex-7.5/,
we have an equation 1 - x2 / x(1 - 2x),
We cannot solve it by substitution or partial fraction.
But we can factorise it, and maybe we can also after factorisation.
So, we factorise the integral and then solve it by partial fraction.
In indefinite integration, there can be a lot of methods to solve the equation. That is why it is difficult to solve integration questions.
