I want to know why debited to your account in banking means deduct your money ?

Suppose Bank charges you Rs 200 charges,it is debited in your account

This is because for Bank it is income and Bank passes Entry

Customer Dr

            To Bank Charges Income

Similarly,If you withdraw 1000 from your account,it is debited from your accoutn

this is because Bank Passes Entry

Customer Dr

            To Cash

hence,debit and credit here is as per bank books of accounts
