Find one solution of x-5=0 in Cartesian plane

The equation is

x - 5 = 0

x = 5

So, x = 5 for all values of y. 

So, solution of the equation can be 

x = 5, y = 0 ; x = 5, y = -1 ; x = 5, y = 100 (i.e. (5, 0), (5, -1), (5, 100))

Another method to solve the equation can be

x - 5 = 0

x + 0 - 5 = 0

x + 0y - 5 = 0

Now,

putting y = 0

x + 0(0) - 5 = 0

x + 0 - 5 = 0

x - 5 = 0

x = 5

So, solution of the equation is x = 5, y = 0 i.e. (0, 5)
