Sir, Can we book a bill on the current date, inspite of Bill date bein

Sir, Can we book a bill on the current date, inspite of Bill date being old. For example, if bill was dated 24th June and was received on 11th July. So can we book this bill on the date of 11th July.
This is a GST bill. Also TDS is applicable on the same.
Kindly suggest.
