Different states of water

Water can exist in 3 different states namely solid, liquid and gas.

 

Interconversion of water into different states:

Water can be changed into different states by heating or cooling .

  • When Ice is heated it changes into water.
  • When water is cooled it changes into Ice.
  • When water is heated it changes into water vapour.
  • When water vapour is cooled it changes into water again.
