(take 1 unit length = 20 thousands)Given that scale 1 unit length = 20 thousands i.e 1 unit length = 20000 Our table is actually 1 Unit length = 20 thousand 1 Unit length = 20 thousand (a) Which two age groups have same population?30 - 44 & 45 – 59 have same population 120000 (b) All persons in the age group of 60 and above are called senior citizens. How many senior citizens are there in the town?Number of senior citizens = Number of people in 60 - 74 + Number of people in 75 & above = 80000 + 40000 = 120000 = 1 lakh 20 thousands
