It is done only if all the following conditions are satisfied
Excisable Goods are covered under Legal Metrology Act

Such law (Legal Metrology Act) requires declaration of Retail Sales Price

Central Government has notified such goods as well as their abatements

Just because goods are covered under Legal Metrology Act is not sufficient, Other two conditions must also be satisfied
