Show answer Hide answer
Answer
Put two similar twigs in red water, one warm and one cold, and compare.

Suggested Experiment

  • Take two similar twigs with white flowers.
  • Put each in a tumbler of red ink water.
  • Keep one tumbler in a warm place and one in a cold place.
  • See which flowers turn red faster.
  • The one that turns red faster has quicker water transport.
Comparing the speed of the red colour shows where transport is quicker.
