Put two similar twigs in red water, one warm and one cold, and compare.
Suggested Experiment
- Take two similar twigs with white flowers.
- Put each in a tumbler of red ink water.
- Keep one tumbler in a warm place and one in a cold place.
- See which flowers turn red faster.
- The one that turns red faster has quicker water transport.
Comparing the speed of the red colour shows where transport is quicker.
