Calendar GridsA calendar isn't just a list of dates; it's a giant math grid. If we pick any 2 × 2 square of dates, there is a hidden algebraic rule that connects them. Finding other numbers if one number is given in 2 × 2 grid Let’s say we have to find other numbers in the grid Now, we do all of them one by one • the number to the right of ‘a’ will be 1 more than it. • the number below ‘a’ will be 7 more than it. • the number diagonal to ‘a’ will be 8 more than it. So, our grid would be Also, Sum of these numbers = a + (a + 1) + (a + 7) + (a + 8) = (a + a + a + a) + (1 + 7 + 8) = 4a + 16 So, if we know sum of the numbers We can find individual numbers Let’s do some questions
