Question 4 - Page 137 Try to devise your own ‘Think of a Number’ trick.Let's create a brand new one that always results in the number 10 . You can test this out on anyone. Think of a number: N Multiply it by 2: 2 × N = 2N Add 20: 2N + 20 Divide by 2: (2𝑁 + 20)/2 = N + 10 Subtract your original number: N + 10 – N = 10 No matter what number they pick, the Ns cancel each other out, and they are left staring at the number 10 !
