We can also take measurements of the symbol Like we name the end points A, B & C Say our measurements are AB = 4 cm, BC = 8 cm Can we re-create the figure? Let’s try Here, the figures our still different But, if we can get ∠ ABC as well, then we can exactly replicate the figure So, if our measurements are AB = 4 cm, BC = 8 cm, and ∠ABC = 80° ; then we can replicate the figure These figures which are are exact copies of each other or have the same shape and size are said to be congruent.
