Question 5 I have one bucket of orange paint that I made by mixing red and yellow paints in the ratio of 3 : 5. I added another bucket of yellow paint to this mixture. What is the ratio of red paint to yellow paint in the new mixture?Let's assume "One Bucket" holds 8 Litres (we chose 8 because 3+5=8, making the math easy). Bucket 1 (Orange): Since the ratio of red and yellow paint is 3 : 5 Red =3 Litres Yellow =5 Litres Bucket 2 (Pure Yellow): Since it is a full bucket of the same size, it has 8 Litres of paint. Red =0 Litres Yellow =8 Litres Mix them together: Total Red: 3+0=𝟑 Total Yellow: 5 (from bucket 1)+8( from bucket 2)=𝟏𝟑 Thus, the new ratio of Red to Yellow is 3 : 13
