Mr. Bean Wrong NumberThere’s a scene in Mr. Bean movie which is like this… Boy’s father asks Mr.Bean to call him and gives his number. But, last two digits are hidden How does Mr. Bean find the number? Well, he writes all possible last two digits – can you find How many of them it could be? Mr. Bean writes all possible last 2-digit numbers, starting from 00, 01, 02, … And, keeps on writing.. Until he reaches last number, 99 And, crosses Numbers he has called Can you find how many numbers does Mr. Bean Call? Our digits are 0 to 9, so total 10 digits So, First digit can have 10 options and Second digit can have 10 options So, we start from 00, 01, 02, 03, ..., 08, 09 10, 11, 12, 13, …, 18, 19 … 90, 91, 92, 93, …, 98, 99 Thus, Total possible cases = 10 × 10 = 100 So, Mr. Bean calls 100 possible numbers Let’s look at the full video now
