Question 2 The area of a rectangular garden that is 50 m long is 1000 sq m. Find the width of the garden. Length of rectangle = l = 50 m Breadth of rectangle = b = ? Area of rectangle = l × b 1000 = 50 × b 50 × b = 1000 b = 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎/𝟓𝟎 b = 20 m ∴ Width of garden is 20 m
