(i) 15625 + 126 (ii) 15625 + 262 (iii) 15625 + 253 (iv) 15625 + 251 (v) 15625 + 512 To find 1262, we must add the 126th consecutive odd number to 1252. Finding 126th odd number The 1st odd number is 1, 2nd odd number is 3, 3rd number is 5, …, 6th odd number is 11 and so on. Thus, nth odd number would be 2n – 1 And, 126th odd number is 2(126) − 1 = 72 − 1 = 251 Calculating 1262 1262 = 1252 + 251 = 15625 + 251 So, option (iv) is correct
