Question 5 In the following figure, observe how the expression w + 2 becomes 4w + 20 along one path. Fill in the missing blanks on the remaining paths. The ovals contain expressions and the boxes contain operations.Let’s fill it Here are the missing expressions in the ovals, based on the operations in the boxes. Top-Left Path: The final blank oval is the result of multiplying (w−3) by 3: 3 × (w − 3) = 3w – 9 Bottom-Left Path: The first blank oval is the result of (w + 2) − 8, which is w – 6 The nest blank oval is the result of (w − 6) − 4, which is w – 10 Bottom-Right Path: The blank oval is the result of (w + 2) + 3, which is w + 5. Note: There appears to be an error in the diagram for this path. The next step shows that multiplying this oval's expression by 4 should result in 3w - 6. However, (w + 5) × 4 = 4w + 20.
