Question 6 The Ashoka Chakra has 24 spokes. What is the degree measure of the angle between two spokes next to each other? What is the largest acute angle formed between two spokes? We know a full circle is 360° Since there are 24 spokes, circle is divided into 24 parts And, Angle of each part = (360° )/24 = 15° What is the largest acute angle formed between two spokes? Acute angles are angles less than 90° So we look for the largest multiple of 15° that’s < 90° 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90° ∴ The largest acute angle is: 75° (If you go to 90°, it becomes a right angle, not acute)
