Question 5 Observe the images below where there is an insect and its rotated version. Can angles be used to describe the amount of rotation? How? What will be the arms of the angle and the vertex? Hint: Observe the horizontal line touching the insects When something rotates, it turns around a point, and the amount it turns is called the angle of rotation. So yes — angles can be used to describe how much the insects have rotated. Here, in both cases we are given initial and final position. So, angle would have Initial position as one arm Final position as another arm Vertex where both arms meet
