Ex 8.2, 1 Express as rupees using decimals. (d) 50 rupees 90 paise 50 rupees 90 paise = 50 rupees + 90 paise = ₹ 50 + 90 × 1 paise = ₹ 50 + 90 × 1/100 rupees = ₹ 50 + 90/100 = ₹ ((50 × 100 + 90)/10) = ₹ ((5000 + 90)/10) = ₹ 5090/100 = ₹ 50.90
