➣ He calls cabinet meetings.
➣ He co-ordinates the work of varios Department.
➣ His decisions are final case of disagreement arise between Department.
➣ He exercises commen supervision of different ministers.
➣ All ministers works under his leadership.
➣ The prime minister distributes and redistributes work to the the ministers.
➣ He has the power to dismiss ministers.
➣ If the prime minister has given the resign then all the ministers have to resign.
The President
➣ The president is the head of the state.
➣ All governmental activities take place in the name of the president.
➣ All laws and major policy decisions of the government are issued in the name of the President.
➣ All major appointment are made in the name of the President.
➣ All International treaties and agreements are made in the name of the President.
➣ The President is the supreme commander of the defence forces of india.
