    Hi Shreesant,

    Rational numbers are those which can be of the form p/q. 

    Example - 2/3, 4/5, 6/7, 1/2

     

    Rational numbers can be of two types

    1. Terminating Rational number - A rational number which has terminating decimal expansion.
      i.e. A Number which can be divided fully. 
      Example - 1/2 = 0.5 , 3/4 = 0.75

    2. Non-terminating Rational number - A rational number whose decimal expansion doesn't end.
      Example - 1/3 = 0.3333.... , 1/7 = 0.14....
