A ngo is engaed in charitable activities,he also earn some Renting of immovable property services income,for which he also hold a Gst registration number.My question is that,on which type of payment he can avail input tax credit, can he claim input on amount payable to hotels for doing a conference for project.

We can take ITC of only those expenses which are related to service provided whether directly or indirectly

In your case,it is not even remotely related,so no input
