Question 13 (Page 228) A family uses solar panels to generate electricity, a gas stove to cook food and a windmill for pumping water from a well. What would happen if there were no sunlight for a week?Solar Panel – If no sun, then no electricity. Gas Stove – Will continue working, as it works on Natural Gas. Windmill – Without Sun, Wind speed decreases, due to which windmill will not work. Overall impact: Two out of three systems (solar panels and windmill) would face problems Daily life would become very difficult which Shows how dependent we are on Sun as main energy source
