Question 5 (Page 228) Why do we say that petroleum is a non-renewable resource? Petroleum is a fossil fuel Fossil Fuels take millions of years to form and they are found in limited quantities. Fossil Fuels do not get replenished within a reasonable period of time. So, Petroleum is a non - renewable resources.
