Difference between Soil, Rock and MineralsSoil is the loose top layer of the Earth where plants grow. Rock is a hard natural material found on And inside the Earth. Mineral is a natural substance That makes up rocks. What does Soil contain? Soil contain many things in the soil, such as sand, insects and worms. There may be many small organisms that we cannot see with our naked eyes. Plants and animals also become part of the soil as they decompose and decay. Different Types of Soil Farm soil is used for growing crops Garden soil is used for growing flowers Roadside soil is used for supporting roads Activity 11.4 :- Location from which soil sample was collected What I guessed about the soil?
