Question 6 (a) Can we have a figure with rotational symmetry whose smallest angle of symmetry is: (a) 45°?The rule here 360° should be a multiple of Smallest angle of symmetry For 45° 45° × 8 = 360° Since 360° is a multiple of 45°, hence it is a possible smallest angle of symmetry Question 6 (b) Can we have a figure with rotational symmetry whose smallest angle of symmetry is: (b) 17°?The rule here 360° should be a multiple of Smallest angle of symmetry For 17° 360° is not a multiple of 17° Since it is not a multiple, hence it is not a possible smallest angle of symmetry
