Question 3 Give the order of rotational symmetry for each figure:Let’s do it one by one To check its Rotational Symmetry, we Mark its end points as 1, 2 At center marked •, we rotate it 180° Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 2 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 2 This is same as last question To check its Rotational Symmetry, we Mark its end points as 1, 2, 3, 4 At center marked •, we rotate it 90° Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 4 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 4 To check its Rotational Symmetry, we Mark its end points as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 At center marked •, we rotate it 60° Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 6 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 6 Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 6 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 6 To check its Rotational Symmetry, we Mark its end points as 1, 2, 3 At center marked •, we rotate it 120° Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 3 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 3 This is same as the cross we did earlier To check its Rotational Symmetry, we Mark its end points as 1, 2, 3, 4 At center marked •, we rotate it 90° Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 4 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 4 To check its Rotational Symmetry, we Mark its end points as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 At center marked •, we rotate it 72° Thus, in 1 full turn (i.e 360°) The figure is same as that of initial 5 times So, we say that figure has Rotational Symmetry of order 5
