Example 1 - Page 232 Find the angles of symmetry of the following strip.Here, we rotate it around the center Now, let’s rotate 90° and 180° and see if it overlaps Checking one-by-one Rotating 90° Since the figure does not overlap 90° is not Angle of Rotation Rotating 180° Since the figure does not overlap 180° is not Angle of Rotation Rotating again 180° Figure is same only after rotating 360° - one full round So, we say that this figure does not have rotational symmetry. ∴ Angle of symmetry = 360°
