Example 1 - Bio - Diversity Variety Life It is Variety of life in a particular Area It includes both plants and animals contributing to the environment Example 2 – Biodiversity of a ForestConiferous Tree Monkey Bear Tiger Squirrel Parrot Duck Loss of biodiversity Trees are cut No food for herbivores ( Elephants , Deers , Etc ) Population of both plants and animals decrease No food for carnivores ( Lion , Tigers , Etc ) Loss of biodiversity of area How human activities leads to loss of biodiversity ?Deforestation ( Trees cut to make cities or for Agriculture ) Mining ( Land dug to take out minerals like gold ) Due to this , plants and animals loose their habitat This leads to loss of biodiversity
