What are Adaptations ? The special features that enable plants and animals to survive in a particular region are called Adaptations Example 1 – Mountain Goat It has fury coat which helps them to survive the cold winters of Mountains Example 2 – Cactus in Desert Area This helps them in storing water and also help them to tolerate the hot conditions in these places.
