Examples :- Grass , Banana , Wheat , Corn , Etc. They are also called Monocot Plants . Plants that have seeds with two cotyledon is called Dicotyledon . Grouping Cotyledons On Basis Of Leaves Venation Monocotyledon Dicotyledon Here , The veins of leaf are running Parallel . So , Dicotyledons have Recticulate venation . Grouping Cotyledons On Basis Of Roots StructureMonocotyledon Dicotyledon Here , There is bunch of similar size roots . So , Monocotyledons have Fibrous System . Here , There is 1 main root and many side roots . So , Dicotyledons have Taproot System . Summary Monocotyledon Dicotyledon Plants that have seeds with one cotyledon is called Monocotyledon.
