Example 11 What is the sum of the numbers in the picture (unknown values are denoted by letter-numbers)?Adding them row wise Sum = (3 + 3 + 3 + 3) + (r + s) + (r + s) + (3 + 3 + 3 + 3) = 12 + r + s + r + s + 12 = (r + r) + (s + s) + (12 + 12) = 2r + 2s + 24
