Write an expression describing the area of the bigger rectangle.First, let us remember Distributive Property Finding Area of bigger rectangle Area of Rectangle I = v × 4 = 4v Area of Rectangle II = v × 3 = 3v Now, Area of bigger rectangle = Area of Rectangle I + Area of Rectangle II = 4v + 3v = 7v
