Calculate the wavelength of a sound wave whose frequency is 220 Hz and speed is 440 m/s in a given medium.

Answer 

Speed of sound = 440m/s

Frequency of sound = 220 Hz

 

We know that

Speed of sound = Wavelength x Frequency

Wavelength = Speed of sound/ Frequency

                     = 440/220

                             = 2 m


Wavelength is 2 m .
