There are total 52 playing cards

  • 4 suits – Spade, Heart, Club, Diamond
  • 13 cards in each suit
  • 4 Aces
  • 4 Kings
  • 4 Queens
  • 4 Jacks

 

 

Face cards are King + Queen + Jack

So, Total Face cards = 3 × 4 = 12 cards
