Ex 12.1, 7 Find the ratio of the following: (a) 30 minutes to 1.5 hours Here, We convert hours into minutes 1.5 hours = 1.5 ร— 60 minutes = 15/10 ร— 60 = 15 ร— 6 = 90 minutes So, Ratio = (30 ๐‘š๐‘–๐‘›๐‘ข๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘ )/(90 ๐‘š๐‘–๐‘›๐‘ข๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘ ) = 30/90 Cancelling 0s = 3/9 = 1/3 โˆด Required ratio = 1 : 3
