Example 1 (Chapter 7 Class 8 Cube and Cube Roots NCERT) Is 243 a perfect cube? Doing Prime factorization of 243 3 | 243 3 | 81 3 | 27 3 | 9 3 | 3 | 1 We see that 243 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 Since 3 does not occur in triplets, ∴ 243 is not a perfect cube.
