Difference between Protoplasm and Cytoplasm

The main difference between Protoplasm and Cytoplasm can be understood from the figure below

 

Protoplasm

Cytoplasm

It includes Cytoplasm + Nucleus of the Cell

It is a jelly like substance between nucleus and cell membrane

Protoplasm include the Nucleus

Cytoplasm doesn’t include the nucleus
