The following are the primary responsibilities of the Food Corporation of India:

  1.  The Food Corporation of India assists in shipping seeds and other types of food to the main regions of the nation.

  2. Food Corporation of India offers assistance with food storage and packing. The primary purpose is to keep the food at the proper temperature so that it does not go bad.
  3. The Food Corporation of India also has the responsibility of maintaining the necessary food supply.

  4. One of the major functions of the Food  Corporation of India is to help in providing proper price support to farmers.
