Wool is a poor conductor of heat .

Warm air trapped between the woollen fibres is not able to escape into the surroundings.

This prevents the flow of heat from our bodies out into the environment.

Air would be trapped in the space between two thin blankets better than in a single thick

blanket

Hence, we’d choose 2 thin blankets to cover during the winter.
