Organisms which take nutrients from dead and decaying matter are known as Saprotrophs.
This mode of Nutrition is known as Saprotrophic Nutrition .
Example - Fungi
Fungi grow on pickles, leather, clothes or any other articles which are left in humid weather for a long time.
