Which of the following statements is correct?

(a) All metals are ductile.

(b) All non-metals are ductile.

(c) Generally, metals are ductile.

(d) Some non-metals are ductile.

 

Answer

(c) Generally, metals are ductile.

 

Ductile means which can be drawn into wires

All metals can be drawn into wires, except Mercury

 

Mercury is a metal which is liquid at room temperature

Thus,Mercury is a Metal which cannot be drawn into wires

So, we choose part (c)
