Like fractions are those fractions where denominators are same

Eg :   1/3, 2/3, 4/3, 8/3 are like fractions

          2/9, 4/9, 6/9, 8/9 are like fractions

 

Unlike fractions are those fractions where denominators are different.

Eg :   1/2, 1/3, 1/5, 1/8 are unlike fractions
