Construct a triangle ∆XYZ in which ∠Y = 30° ∠Z = 90° and XY + YZ + ZX = 11 cm.
Steps of Construction:
Draw a line segment PQ equal to XY + YZ + ZX = 11 cm.
Make ∠ LPQ = ∠Y = 30° and ∠ MQP = ∠Z = 90°
Bisect ∠ LPQ and ∠ MQP. Let these bisectors intersect at a point X .
Draw perpendicular bisectors of line XP and XQ
Let AB intersect PQ at Y and CD intersect PQ at Z.
Join XY and XZ
∴ Δ XYZ is the required triangle
