Construct a triangle ∆XYZ in which ∠Y = 30° ∠Z = 90° and XY + YZ + ZX = 11 cm.

Steps of Construction:

1. Draw a line segment PQ equal to XY + YZ + ZX = 11 cm.
2. Make ∠ LPQ = ∠Y = 30° and ∠ MQP = ∠Z = 90°
3. Bisect ∠ LPQ and ∠ MQP. Let these bisectors intersect at a point X .
4. Draw perpendicular bisectors of line XP and XQ
5. Let AB intersect PQ at Y and CD intersect PQ at Z.
6. Join XY and XZ

∴ Δ XYZ is the required triangle
