U have solved sub question(4) of Q.no.4 of ex.8.4 in some long way. The other way I found out was by using the trignometric identities. However, thanks for ur solutions as they help me in maths if I am stuck.

Ideally, you should learn only one formula (sin2 x + cos2 x = 1),
and convert everything else into sin and cos. That's what we have done in the last part.
