- Ensure there is no overwriting on the cheque or cheque may get rejected by bank
- If TDS deducted by party,it shou while making cheque lt should be as per TDS Law
- First of all check Party ledger to find out Amount due .Ensure that cheque amount matches with amount due
- If Advance received,match whether it is as per Agreeement
- Check date on cheque (It should not be expired cheque,in india cheque expires in 3 months)
- Check whether there is no spelling mistake in Payee's name(Our name)
